It's not that I can't even bear a little bit of heat. I've been living in my own house for the past 17 years without airconds (we only got it during Spm) and I was fine, BUT this one!! Let's just say I barely had any proper sleep for these 2 days because of the heat.
I think it was so bad mainly because all the windows are sealed shut and the hot air just kept on circulating around the room. Pfft. WHY ON EARTH DO THEY EVEN SEAL THE WINDOWS?! Neways, I'm just happy they fixed the aircond already and cool air is now blowing on my head as I type. Bliss~

Last week, I finally get to visit Straits Quay with my family. I dunno why but I just didn't get the chance to go there when I went back for my December break. So, here we are! :D
The landscaping, the view, the pier.. It was all very, very pretty. And it has a very Victorian feel to its architectures. I like that place. A lot. But, I think it's wayyyyy too underused and underutilized for a place as pretty as this.
Because for one, I was bored to tears as there were pretty much nothing to do or see over there. Most shops are either too expensive/high class, or.. actually there's not THAT many shops to begin with, anyway.
And secondly, the mall is actually kind of small - despite having such big exterior. It's like you walk from one end to the other end, and that's it. That's all! And then, you're back to my point No.1.
Well, at least it is still pretty nonetheless. So, it has a very nice view for those photographers or just plain photo-taking lovers like me, to have a mini photoshoot there. And trust me, the pictures will not fail you.
[Above: There was this little girl who suddenly run in front of me right at the moment when my mum took the shot. So cute. :)]
