I Have Awesome Friends

Hello! 

As you may already know, my ever dreaded finals is officially over! So now, I can finally find the time to blog a real post and not just a short "i-just-wanna-let-you-know-i'm-not-dead" post.

Unlike every other year, my birthday unfortunately falls on my exam day this year. Well obviously I was pretty sad because I could not celebrate it like I did for the last two years. Remember this and this, anyone? And for another thing, my family was not with me. So, yeah... I was sad.

 

But despite all that, I did have a pretty good time. SIMPLY BECAUSE I HAVE SUCH AWESOME FRIENDS WHO REALLY MADE MY DAY! ♥

A few days before our exam, Serene and Pei Ying brought me to Pyramid for me to choose my presents. They kept apologizing for ruining the surprise and all, but they were afraid I wouldn't like whatever they chose. Truth to be told, I was indeed quite bummed at that time..

They told me they would rather ruin the surprise to buy me something I like than to surprise me with something I don't. But as it turned out, my body really didn't quite fit in the dress they chose and it totally does not suit me at all. 

So, it was a good thing they did not buy it yet! They ended up buying me a dress from Forever 21 and a watch from Padini Authentics that I personally like.

 

I then realized they were right because we had SO MUCH FUN searching for the presents together! And, we get to see leng zai promoter in F21! Hahaha. So, thank you very much for sacrificing your study time just for that. I really appreciate it. And of course, thanks to everyone who shared the presents as well! 

And thanks, Bel for the "sandbag" pillow, Melody! Hehe. She was the first one to give me my present a few weeks before the real day. LOL I hugged it every time I go to sleep now. It is very comfy and squishy. Loved it! Thank you! ♥  

On Tuesday night, we (hostel people) were all busy studying for our next paper at the study area. Once the clock strikes 12, all of them started singing 'Happy Birthday' song for me in like, multiple language. LOL After that, books were all forgotten. Hehe.

Then out of the blues, Chen Ni took out her present for me. I can't believe I didn't even notice it the whole night long! o_o Anyway, it was a Roxy pencil case which I super like!!! Because my current one is so dirty and old and disgusting... But that's not all! She even made cute little baskets with messages inside for me which were put inside a Honey Stars box! SO CUTE.

She made and wrote all 18 little baskets to mark my 18th birthday. They were very funny and sweet, THANK YOU SO MUCH GAN! ♥

And thanks to everyone else who called and messaged me. I had fun reading you guys' messages and it really made me happy and touched. I may not have a birthday party or whatnot, but I think everyone had made it special for me.
